The Paradox receiver and all parts manufactured by us, carry our famous lifetime warranty!

We will not warranty the hammer set. It is in essence a stock AAP-01 on HPA, eventually the hammer / auto-sear will wear / break. We sell upgraded hammer sets on the website.

We aim to release this very late in 2024, or at the very latest, January 2025

We will release this as a kit in the future, and aim for around the £200 mark. We recommend building this from a stock AAP, not an 'upgraded' one, as it will not be easy to diagnose feed issues etc.

We intend to test and then develop modular front magwells for MP5 magazines, PTS AR9 (ARP9) magazines, and the TM 400 round drum. These will not be available at launch.

All hammer set upgrades are compatible with this kit, as it replicates a stock AAP frame.

As the kit takes a stock AAP Upper receiver, any bolt or hop upgrades are also compatible, however it is important to bare in mind any increases to cyclic rate will need to be carefully tuned to ensure the gun still feeds (this is no different to when running off a HPA adapter).

As always, incremental upgrades, by an experienced tech, are heavily recommended.

We have developed and tested the Paradox kit with the Action Army Folding Stock and the CTM FUKU-2 Reaper Stock. Both are compatible and I recommend using them if you want that extra point of contact, it works very well! Both of these solutions also add a sling mounting point.

This kit is compatible with all CTM Grip Panels, and all AAP-01 compatible magwells (e.g. CTM, COWCOW, 5KU)

We recommend only PTS EPM1 or EPM1s with this adapter, as the feed distance is relatively long -- similar to HPA adapters.

Other M4 mags with high feed strength may work, however we will not be testing with these

The Paradox kit will ship with a CNC adjustable trigger as standard, as it is not compatible with AAP-01 triggers, due to the internal geometry of the BB feed

The kit will not be compatible with most aftermarket uppers that have integrated picatinny rails (e.g. FUKU 2, Mamba) -- This is due to there being an M4 magwell in the way!

We will be releasing our own carbon fibre uppers, which seamlessly integrate with the Paradox lower for a great aesthetic.

Aftermarket front barrels, and aftermarket CNC uppers that mimic the stock Action Army 'two part' upper, are compatible with this kit, and are a great way to add aesthetic flair!
